This beautifully crafted black cotton jacket has been made with subtle features to assist the modern cyclist – for example hidden reflective prints, a slightly longer back and removable belt. All very chic.

The VAELA heavy, black cotton jacket can be worn buttoned and belted up against the wind or with the collar open and belt removed for a more ‘shacket’ like look.
The saddle shoulders keep the shape soft and let the sleeves slide smoothly over the wearer’s arms when stretching for the bars. A little stretch in the fabric further improves comfort and fit.
The back is cut to cover your bottom when riding, and the cuffs can be turned down and the belt turned over to reveal reflective prints that sing out in the face of car headlights.

Wash as infrequently as you feel comfortable with. Wash inside out and with dark colours. Try to avoid bio detergents and those that include phosphates. Do not iron the reflective print (even on the reverse of the fabric).

- An extra zipped stash pocket. Just like our summer jerseys, these come loaded with an extra zipped water-resistant pocket for maximum protection and flexibility – which has now been made slightly larger so you can fit your phone in there.
- Heat transfer neck labels. Nobody wants a scratchy neck label so we use flat heat transfers instead of sewn-in labels. Nothing to stick out or irritate.
